Spend Your Summer Learning About What STEM Has To Offer
Due to the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, many kids had their traditional summer camps cancelled and are missing out on the possibility to go to large events and learn about STEM. This Gold Award project safely brings demos and hands-on STEM experiments/activities to kids at home who are social distancing. While they may not be able to attend a large-scale panel event, they will be able to be a part of virtual interactive interviews, featuring females in the STEM field. With the help of Flipgrid and Zoom, participants will be able to gain and share a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.
Get ready to be the next STEM Star! Join a live session or catch up on YouTube to take part in a fun and hands-on experience! From slime and DNA extractions, to DIY rockets, dry ice demos, and challenges, your day is about to get a lot more interesting :)
